Description: This cell line is a derivative of the BW7756 mouse hepatoma that arose in a C57/L mouse. The cells can be propagated in a serum free medium consisting of Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium, 75%; Waymouth's MAB 87/3 medium, 25% plus 3 x10-8 M selenium. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox).
